1. Corrosion resistance

Most stainless steel products require good corrosion resistance. Stainless steel tubes are similar to Class I and Class II tableware, kitchenware, water heaters, water dispensers, etc. Some foreign traders also test the corrosion resistance of their products by using NACL aqueous solution heated to boiling, after which the solution is drained, washed and dried, and weight loss is determined to determine the degree of corrosion.

2. Weldability

Welding performance requirements vary from product to product. A cutlery usually does not require welding properties, even including some pot enterprises. However, most products require raw materials with good welding performance, such as type II tableware, thermos cup, steel pipe, water heater, water dispenser, etc.

3. Polishing

At present, stainless steel products are generally polished in the production process, only a few products such as water heaters, water dispenser lining do not need to be polished. Therefore, this requires good polishing properties of the raw materials. The main factors affecting the polishing performance are as follows:

1. Surface defects of raw materials. Such as scratches, pitting, soaking, etc.

2. Raw materials of stainless steel tubes. Too low hardness, polishing is not easy (BQ is not good), too low hardness, deep drawing surface prone to appear orange peel phenomenon, affecting BQ performance. BQ with high hardness is relatively good.

3. After deep drawing, small black points and RI high imitation will be found on the surface of regions with greater deformation, which will affect the BQ attribute.
